E and F are midpoints of equal sides AB and AC of triangle ABC.

In triangleABF and triangle ACE

AB=AC

A=A (Common angle)

AF=AE (Halves of equal sides)

Therefore,

ABFACE (SAS rule)

BF=CF(CPCT)

Hence, it is proved that BF=CE
