Diurnal range of temperature and annual range of temperature are the two different kinds of temperature. As the name suggests ‘Diurnal’ implies daily, while ‘annual’ implies yearly. Let us know the difference between the two ranges of temperature.

The difference between the daily maximum and minimum temperature is called Diurnal range of temperature. The difference between the hottest and coldest months, taking monthly mean temperatures in each case is called the annual range of temperature.
