Solution

Find the rational number between two rational numbers

Rational number is a type of real numbers, which is in the form of pq where q not equal to 0.

Any fraction with non-zero denominators is a rational number.

Let x be a rational number such that x is less than 110thof the difference between the two number.

x<110·56+34x<110·1912x<19120

Say x=112.

From the property of rational number we know that sum of two rational number is a rational number.

So we can say the rational in between -34 and 56 are of form -34+n112 where n=1,2,...,10

the rational numbers are

-34+112,-34+212,-34+312,-34+412,-34+512,-34+612,-34+712,-34+812,-34+912,-34+1012,

=-23,-712,-12,-512,-13,-14,-16,-112,0,112

Hence, the ten rational numbers between -34 and 56 are -23,-712,-12,-512,-13,-14,-16,-112,0,112.
