If a number is a factor of two or more numbers. then such a number is called a common factor.

Given,

16x3,-4x2,32x

The factors of the numbers 16x3,-4x2,32x are

16x3=2×2×2×2×x×x×x-4x2=-1×2×2×x×x32x=2×2×2×2×2×x

On observing these factors, we can conclude that

Common factor =2×2×x

=4x

Hence, the common factor of 16x3,-4x2,32x is 4x.
