HCF or the highest common factor of two numbers is the largest number which is a factor of both the numbers.

Factorise 12,45,75

12=1×2×2×345=1×3×3×575=1×3×5×5

So, the common factors are1,3

The highest among all common factors is 3

Hence, HCF of 12,45 and 75is 3
