Positive numbers, which can be expressed without fractions, are known as natural numbers.

The first twelve natural numbers are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 and 12.

The sum of the first twelve natural numbers x=1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12=78.

The total number of terms, n=12.

The mean of the given data can be found by, x¯=xn.

Thus, the mean of the first twelve natural numbers x¯=xn=7812=6.5.

Therefore, the mean of the first twelve natural numbers is 6.5.
