Find the perimeter of the adjoining figure, which is a semicircle including its diameter.

Step 1: Calculate the radius

Given, diameter of semi-circle d=10cm.

We know that, radius

(r)=d2

=102=5cm

Step 2: Calculate the circumference

We know that circumference of the semi-circle

C=πr

=3.14×5=15.7cm

Step 3: Calculate the perimeter

Now, perimeter = circumference of the semi-circle + semi-circle diameter

p=C+d

=15.71+10=25.71cm

Hence, the perimeter of the given figure is 25.71cm.
