Example for an improper fraction :

  1. A fraction is a numerical quantity that is not a whole number and consists of a numerator and a denominator.
  2. In proper fraction, numerator is less than the denominator such as 12, 34 etc.
  3. An improper fraction is a fraction whose numerator is equal to or greater than its denominator such as 43, 76 etc.

Hence, 43 and 76 are examples of improper fraction.
