They are two types of protein molecules fibrous proteins and globular proteins.
Fibrous proteins are insoluble and elongated and they are involved in bone development, muscle development, connective tissues, etc.
Examples – Collagen and Keratin.
Globular proteins are soluble and compact and in living organisms, they are an important part of biological processes. They function as proteins, enzymes, hormones and so on the transport.
Examples – Alpha immunoglobulin, Hemoglobin, beta immunoglobulin.
