Non-aqueous solution:-

  1. Non-aqueous solutions are solutions where the solvent is not water.
  2. The solvent in these solutions can be polar or non-polar but cannot be water.
  3. Some common examples can be a solution of iodine in carbon tetrachloride, and a solution of sulphur in carbon disulphide.

Therefore, examples of non-aqueous solutions are ethene in dichloromethane, and sulphur in carbon disulphide.
