Solution
Dispersion of light
Dispersion is the phenomenon of visible light separating into its component colors.
Light dispersion is caused by a variable amount of change in the speed of light rays (resulting in the angle of deviation) for each wavelength.
White light has seven visible colors (VIBGYOR), whereas black (or dark) means there are no light rays.
Splitting of white light
You may not see all seven colors in the rainbow. It's caused by color overlapping.
The degree of bending of the light path is determined by the angle made by the incident beam of light with the surface, as well as the ratio of the two media's refractive indices (Snell's law), and results in the separation of all seven colors contained in white light.
White light can be used to create a band of seven colors using a narrow beam of light, a glass prism, and an arrangement of lenses.

VIBGYOR
The name VIBGYOR denotes the seven colors of the white light spectrum.
Violet is represented by , Indigo by , Blue by , Green by , Yellow by , Orange by , and Red by .
And it is connected with the phenomenon of dispersion of light.
