Solution

Muscular Force:

  1. Force can be defined as the external cause that changes or tends to change the state of motion or rest of a body. Also, it can change the direction, velocity, shape, etc. of the body.
  2. Force is generally classified into two types, namely, contact force, which is the force applied by touching a body, and non-contact force, which is a force applied without any physical contact.
  3. Force applied by the action of muscles present in the body is known as muscular force. This is a type of contact force. Whenever a body movement is done, muscular force is applied.

Examples of muscular force:

  1. Walking: When a person walks, the leg muscles, calf muscles, and hip muscles work.
  2. Chewing food: While chewing food, the jaw muscles work.

Hence, walking and chewing food are two examples of muscular force.
