Solution

Reasons for avoiding frequent pregnancies:

  1. Frequent pregnancies have many drastic effects on the mother as well as the child and can cause various congenital disorders.
  2. Frequent pregnancies within less than a span of 12 months and improper spacing between children can lead to premature birth and abnormal growth.
  3. Due to repeated pregnancies and breastfeeding, the mother may be unable to supply proper nourishment to the infant.
  4. The mother may suffer from genital tract inflammations.
  5. As childbirth is an extensive process that takes a toll on the mother's body, hence at least more than 18 to 24 months or less than 5 years should be given to allow the body to completely heal down and recover from the major changes.
