Given a metal pipe 77cm long and inner diameter is 4cm and outer diameter is 4.4cm. Find the outer curved surface area of the pipe.

Find the curve surface area

Given: Height of pipe =77cm and outer diameter of the pipe =4.4cm

The outer curved surface area of the pipe.

=(2×π×(outerradius)×height)[Curvedsurfaceareaofcylinder=2πrh]=2×π×4.42×77[radius=diameter2]=2×π×2.2×77=1064.8cm2

Therefore outer curve surface area =1064.8cm2
