Question

Government and Non-government Companies.

Open in App
Solution

A governmental organization is run and staffed by government employees. All of the funds that pay for its expenses come from the government. At least 51% of the share capital is held by the central Governments and one or more state governments in government companies. In contrast, in nongovernment companies, the share capital is owned by the promoters or the investing public. A nongovernmental organization is most often a non-profit. It may or may not receive government grants or fees for its services.
