  • The mass of one mole of a molecular substance in the unit of grams is called gram molecular mass.
  • It is the sum of all the atomic masses in the molecular formula.
  • For example, if the atomic mass of H is 1, and the atomic mass of O is 16, the gram molecular mass of H2O (H2O molecule contains one hydrogen atom and one oxygen atom)
