2. Bacteria that are invisible to the naked eye can also be found in compost.

Insect characteristics:

1. Insects are pancrustacean hexapod Insecta invertebrates.
2. They make up the majority of the arthropod phylum. Insects have a chitinous exoskeleton, three parts to their bodies (head, thorax, and abdomen), three pairs of jointed legs, complex eyes, and one pair of antennae.
3. Some of their blood does not flow in vessels, but rather in an open space known as the hemocoel.
