Open in App
Solution

Convert 90 degrees to radians.

As we know that, the conversion of degrees to radians is a type of conversion used in geometry to change the unit of measurement for angles.

The degree is represented by the symbol °, In radians, 1complete counterclockwise revolution is 2π and in degrees, 1 complete counterclockwise revolution is 360°.

The formula for conversion of degree to radian is,

Radians=Degress×π180

One radian is the angle generated at the center of a circle by an arc whose length equals the circle's radius r.

We have to multiply the given value by π180°.

90°=90×π180°radians

90°=90×π90×2radians

90°=π2radians

Hence, the value of 90° in radians is π2.
