Use of energy:

1. All living organisms need the energy to sustain and maintain all of their life processes.
2. This energy is derived from the food that we eat.
3. The mitochondria present in the cell are the power-house of the cell which synthesizes this energy.
4. This energy is stored in the form of ATP (Adenosine triphosphate).
5. Whenever our cells need energy, this ATP is broken down to provide the required energy.
