Open in App
Solution

Energy

  1. Energy should be transferred to an object in order to move it.
  2. Transferring energy can be in the form of force.

Work

  1. Work is considered to be done when a force creates motion.
  2. The amount of energy transferred by the force to move an object is called work or work done

Relation between work and energy.

  1. To help an object move, energy must be transmitted to it, and this energy might take the form of force.
  2. The energy transmitted by force to move any object is referred to as work.
  3. The difference in an object's kinetic energy is known as work done by the object.

Workdone(A)=Changeinkineticenergy(KE)

Thus, the relation between Work and Energy is direct. That is, the difference in the Kinetic energy of an object is work done by an object.
