Solution

Decreased heart function:

  1. The heart is one of the most important organs in our system, it is the organ that pumps blood to the rest of the organs.
  2. Stoppage of heart functioning can lead to the death of an organism.
  3. When heart function is less than 50% it can lead to cardiac arrest of an organism.
  4. Now if the heart function is less than 20%, it will lead to cardiac arrest. It won't be able to supply blood to the brain and other parts of the body which will eventually lead to the death of the person.
  5. But all the causes and side effects may vary according to their age, health condition, etc.
  6. So, with 20% heart function a person is said to have a life expectancy of about 2-5 years depending on the age, previous medical history and life aids provided.
