Solution

Muscle:

There are 639 muscles in the human body.

Muscles are divided into three categories in the human body. They are as follows:

  1. Skeletal muscle:
    1. It's also called voluntary muscles, and it's the only consciously controlled muscle tissue in the body.
    2. Tendons connect your skeletal muscles to your bones.
    3. Thousands of muscular fibres are packed together to form each muscle.
    4. Movement is primarily controlled by skeletal muscle.
  2. Smooth muscle:
    1. It can be detected in the stomach, intestines, or blood vessels.
    2. It is also known as an involuntary muscle because it is controlled by the unconscious part of the brain.
    3. Its purpose is to cause organs to contract in order to transport chemicals out of them.
  3. Cardiac muscle:
    1. As the name implies, these muscles are found in the heart, and they are also important for blood pumping.
    2. Because the unconscious part controls this muscular tissue, it is an involuntary muscle.
