Find the value of a.

Given: One zero of px=a2+9x2+45x+6a is reciprocal to the other.

let α be the one root of the quadratic equation. So, the other root will be 1α.

We know that for the quadratic equation ax2+bx+c product of the roots is given by ca.

Thus, product of the roots of the given quadratic equation =6aa2+9.

6aa2+9=1a2-6a+9=0a-32=0a=3

Hence, the value of a is 3..
