Find the value.

As we know that, Trigonometric functions are functions that relate an angle in a right angled triangle to the ratio of two of its sides.

From the given,sinθ=cosθ

Divide both sides by cosθ.

sinθcosθ=cosθcosθ

According to Reciprocal identities of trigonometric function,

tanθ=sinθcosθ

tanθ=1

tanθ=tan45°

θ=45°

2tan2θ+sin2θ-1=2tan245°+sin245°-1

=212+122-1

=32

Hence, the value of 2tan2θ+sin2θ-1 is 32.
