Given: x2y+y2+3...(1)

3x2y+2y2+5...(2)

Subtract expression 1 from expression 2, we get;

3x2y+2y2+5-x2y+y2+3=x2y(3-1)+y2(2-1)+5-33x2y+2y2+5-x2y+y2+3=2x2y+y2+2

Hence, the coefficient of y is 2x2.
