Prove the required condition:

Given: AB=ACandAP=AQ

InABC,AB-AP=AC-AQBP=CQ

Now in BCP and BCQ

BP=CQ

BCP=BCQ (Common angles)

BC=BC (Common side)

Hence BCPBCQ (by SAS congruency)

Hence CP=BQ (corresponding sides of congruence triangles)

Hence, proved that CP=BQ.
