Real image Virtual image
When a parallel beam of straight light rays meets at a particular point after reflection from a mirror, then the image formed by the mirror is called a real image.When a parallel beam of straight light rays appears to meet at a particular point after reflection from a mirror, then the image formed by the mirror is called a virtual image.
Real images are forms on the concave mirrors.Virtual images forms on the convex mirror.
The real image is inverted.The virtual image is upright or erect.
