Solution

Solve for the value of dividend

Let D,Q,R be the divisor , quotient and remainder respectively.

It is given that divisor is 5 times the quotient and twice the remainder and the remainder is 15

D=5Q,D=2R

Substitute the value of R in the given condition.

D=2×15=30

Q=D5=305=6

We know that, Dividend =Divisor × Quotient + Remainder

Dividend = 30×6+15=195

Hence the value of dividend is 195
