I=1-cos6x-3cos2x+3cos4x.sinxdx

=sinxdx-cos6x.sinxdx-3cos2x.sinxdx+3cos4x.sinxdx

Step 3: Substitute a variable and solve

Let y=cosx

dy=-sinxdx

I=-cosx+y6dy+3y2dy-3y4dy

=-cosx+y77+3y33-3y55+c where c is the constant of integration.

=-cosx+cos7x7+cos3x-35cos5x+c
