Solution

Unicellular organisms:

  1. A unicellular organism is an organism composed of a single cell in which all life processes such as reproduction, feeding, digestion, and excretion take place.
  2. Amoeba, bacteria, and plankton are examples of unicellular organisms.
  3. These unicellular organisms are microscopic and cannot be seen with the naked eye.
  4. Asexual reproduction is well-known in unicellular organisms.

Multicellular organisms:

  1. A multicellular organism, tissue, or organ is a multicellular organism made up of many cells.
  2. Multicellular organisms include animals, plants, and fungi.
  3. Multicellular organisms are much larger in size and have extremely complex and intricate compositions and structures.
  4. Multicellular organisms include humans, animals, plants, and insects.

Thus, the statement is incorrect. Unicellular and multicellular organisms both breathe/all organisms breathe.
