• Precaution of ecological imbalance, thus the damage to the environment will be caused

If resources are exploited with short-term aims it will be very beneficial for the present generation as it will help in the growth of the economy at a faster rate.So it is better to use resources with a long-term perspective. This will prevent depletion of resources, not harm our environment and also ensure availability of resources for our future generation.
