Blood is a fluid connective tissue which circulates in the body.
Two components of blood are:
Red blood cells (RBC):
Red blood cell is a type of blood cell which is made in the bone marrow and found in the blood which contains hemoglobin, which helps in carrying oxygen to all parts of the body from the lungs.
White blood cells (WBC):
White blood cell is a type of blood cell which is made in the bone marrow and found in the blood and lymph tissue.
They are the part of the immune system of the body which helps the body fight infection and other diseases.
The other components of blood include:
Plasma: It is the clear fluid part slightly yellowish part of the blood carrying blood cells.
Platelets: They are colorless small fragments of cells that stop bleeding by forming clots.
