Step 1: Follow the following steps to multiply two binomials.

  • Apply the distributive law of multiplication.
  • Multiply every term of one binomial with every term in the other binomial.
  • Look for like terms, if any, and combine them.

Step 2: Multiply (2x+5) and(4x-3).

2x+5×4x-3=2x4x-3+54x-3=8x2-6x+20x-15=8x2+14x-15

Hence the product of (2x+5) and(4x-3) is 8x2+14x-15.
