Bern is the capital city of Switzerland. Switzerland officially does not declare Bern as its capital city but the government offices of Switzerland are set up in this city. Bern is host to the Federal Palace which is the Swiss Parliament’s building and makes it the de-facto capital of the Swiss Confederation otherwise technically just the Federal city.
