  1. Female reproductive part of the flower is called the pistil.
  2. The pistil is present centrally in a flower and has three main parts:
    1. Stigma: It is the topmost part of the pistil that is visible in the flower. It has a sticky flat top where the pollen grains stick.
    2. Style: It is a long stalk-like shape that connects the stigma and ovary. It creates the passage for the pollen grains to reach the ovary.
    3. Ovary: It is the swollen base that contains the ovules. It is the site for fertilization.
