Solution

Nitrogen molecule:-

  1. It is actually a non-metal.
  2. There is the presence of triple covalent bond which is non-polar in the Nitrogen molecule.
  3. The outer shell of the Nitrogen atom will consist of 5 electrons.
  4. There is a sharing of 3 electrons each by Nitrogen molecule (NN).
  5. Nitrogen molecule is also a part of the amino acid .
  6. Dipole moment in the Nitrogen molecule is zero, as the two N atoms are having no difference in their electronegativities.

Therefore, Nitrogen molecules is an example of a non-polar covalent bond.
