The winning time is a positive integer and the losing time be a negative integer.
Sana’s total time with Fatima (winning / losing)
= $(10–60+20–25–37+12)$seconds
= $(42–122)$ seconds
= $–80$ seconds

Since, $1minute=60seconds$

So,

$$\begin{gathered} 80seconds=60seconds+20seconds \\ \Rightarrow 80seconds=1minute+20seconds \end{gathered}$$
Hence, Sana lost the race by $80$ seconds or $1minute20$ seconds which implies Fatima won the race.
