Solution

Step 1: Simplify 3x4x-5+3.

Simplify 3x4x-5+3using BODMAS.

3x(4x5)+3=(3x×4x)(3x×5)+3=12x215x+3

Step 2: Calculate the value of 12x215x+3at x=3.

Apply the value of 12x215x+3at x=3 and solve:

12x215x+3=12(3)215(3)+3=(12×9)(15×3)+3=10845+3=11145=66

Step 3: Calculate the value of 12x215x+3at x=12.

Apply the value of 12x215x+3at x=12 and solve:

12x215x+3=12(12)215(12)+3=(12×14)(15×12)+3=37.5+3=67.5=1.5=32

Hence, the simplified form of 3x4x-5+3 is 12x215x+3and its value at x=3 and x=12is 66 and -32 respectively.
