Solve graphically :

$2x+y-6=0and4x-2y-4=0$

$$\begin{gathered} 2x+y-6=0...............\left(i\right) \\ 4x-2y-4=0..............\left(ii\right) \end{gathered}$$(First of all, solve the equation by substitution method)

From equation (i) we get $y=6-2x$

Putting this value in the equation (ii) we get,

$$\begin{gathered} 4x-2\left(6-2x\right)-4=0 \\ 4x-12+4x-4=0 \\ 8x-16=0 \\ 8x=16 \\ x=\frac{16}{8} \\ x=2 \end{gathered}$$

$$\begin{gathered} y=6-2x \\ y=6-2\times 2 \\ y=6-4 \\ y=2 \end{gathered}$$

So we can see that the solution to the equations is $x=2,y=2$
