  1. The first law of reflection states that the incident ray, the reflected ray, and the normal to the surface of the mirror, all lie in the same plane.
  2. The second law of reflection states that the angle of reflection is equal to the angle of incidence. Both angles are measured with respect to the normal to the mirror. That is i=r

Note:

Reflection of Light:

  1. Reflection is one of the distinctive properties of light.
  2. It is the reflection of light, which enables us to see anything.
  3. Light reflection occurs when a ray of light meets a smooth polished surface and reflects back.
  4. The incident light ray is said to be reflected off the surface when it lands on it.
  5. The beam that rebounds is known as the reflected ray. back.
