Question

State Ohm's Law.

Open in App
Solution

Solution:

  1. Ohm’s law states that the voltage across a conductor is directly proportional to the current flowing through it, provided all physical conditions and temperatures remain constant.
  2. Mathematically, it is stated as: V=IR. Where V is the voltage across the resistor R and I is the current passing through it.

Importance of Ohm's Law:

  1. When the other two parameters are known, Ohm's law may be used to calculate the voltage, current, impedance, or resistance of a linear electric circuit.
  2. It also simplifies power computation.

Ohm's Law has been stated.
