The correct option is C fibrous connective tissue
Connective tissues are those tissues which connect and support other tissues. Connective tissues are broadly classified into three types which include loose connective tissue, dense connective tissue, specialized connective tissue.
Dense connective tissues are those in which fibres and fibroblasts are compactly packed. Orientation of fibres show a regular or irregular pattern in dense regular and dense irregular tissues respectively. In the dense regular connective tissues, the collagen fibres are present in rows between many parallel bundles of fibres. It is of two types: white fibrous connective tissue and yellow elastic connective tissue. The white fibrous connective tissue forms cords called tendons which connect the skeletal muscles with the bones. The yellow elastic connective tissue forms cords called ligaments which join bones to bones.
