Let b,h and l be breadth, height, and length respectively.

Given length l=18cm

height (h)=8cm

Area of four walls of cuboid =448cm2

Area of four walls of cuboid =2×h(b+l)

2h(b+l)=448

2×8b+18=448

Step 2: Solve the above equation

(b+18)=44816

b+18=28

b=28-18

b=10cm

Hence, the breadth of the cuboid is 10cm
