Solution

Find the type of triangle formed.

The given points are:

A(-4,9,6),B(-1,6,6) and C(0,7,10)

Now,

AB=-1+4i+6-9j+6-6k=3i-3jAB2=32+32=9+9=18Bc=0+1i+7-6j+10-6k=i-j+4kBC2=12+12+42=18AC=0+4i+7-9j+10-6k=4i-2j+4kAC2=42+22+42=16+4+16=36

Since, AB2+BC2=AC2,BC=AB

Hence, the triangle formed from the above-given points is a right-angled, isosceles triangle.
