The ratio of daily wages of two workers is 4:3 and one gets daily Rs. 9 more than others. What are their daily wages ?

Find the daily wages:

Given, the ratio of daily wages of two workers is 4:3.

Let us say, the wages of workers are 4x and 3x.

As per the question, one gets daily Rs. 9 more than others.

Therefore,

4x-3x=9x=9

Daily wages of one worker =4x

=4×9

=Rs. 36

And of second worker =3x

=3×9

=Rs. 27

Hence, the daily wages of two workers are Rs. 36 and Rs. 27.
