The temperature dropped 15 degree celsius in the last 30 days. If the rate of temperature drop remains the same, how many degrees will the temperature drop in the next ten days?

  2. Heat should not be confused with temperature.

Step 2: Determine the temperature drop in next 10 days

Temperature drop in 30 days =15°C

Temperature drop in 1 day =1530°C

Temperature drop in 1 day =12°C

Therefore, temperature drop in next 10 days will be the product of 12 and 10.

=12×10

=5°C

Thus, the temperature will be 5°C.
