Finding the modal weight:

We know that formula for calculating the modal weight is

Mode=l+(f1-f02f1-f0-f2)×h

Where lis the lower limit of the modal class and his the class -width

f1 is the frequency of modal class ,f0 is the frequency of the previous class of the modal class and f2is the frequency of the next class to the modal class .

So first we choose the modal class.

The class whose frequency is highest is called the modal class .

So 202-203 is the modal class because its frequency is highest that is 26.

Here f1=26,f0=12,f2=20 and l=201,h=202-201=1

So mode =201+(26-122(26)-12-20)×1=201+(1452-32)×1=201+(1420)×1=201+(1420)=201×20+1420=403420=201.70

Hence, modal weight of the given data is 201.70g
