Question

Verify whether the following are zeroes of the polynomial, indicated against them: p(x)=3x+1,x=-13

Open in App
Solution

We have,

p(x)=3x+1,x=-13

For x=-13, the given polynomial p(x)=3x+1 will be

p-13=3-13+1p-13=1+1p-13=0

Since, p(x)=3x+1is 0 at x=-13

Hence, -13is a zero of p(x).
