5. Thus, with more trees, there will be less influence of harmful gases like carbon dioxide on the environment.
6. Carbon dioxide is the main greenhouse gas responsible for global warming or climate change.
7. Plants also help in preventing soil erosion and help to maintain the groundwater table.
8. Therefore, planting more trees helps to preserve more water when more rain comes, the process termed rainwater harvesting.
