Asteroids
- Asteroids are rocky objects that orbit the sun but are too small to be classified as planets.
- They are also referred to as planetoids or minor planets.
- There are millions of asteroids that range in size from hundreds of miles to several feet.
- A meteoroid, on the other hand, is a tiny fragment of a comet or asteroid that has been separated or accidentally detached.
- The asteroid belt contains millions of asteroids. The asteroid belt, which lies between Jupiter and Mars, contains around 750,000 asteroids.
